Staging Santa Fe evolved when the owners were given an opportunity to acquire a substantial collection of fine furnishings, art, rugs and unique decorative pieces from Sher Colquitt Design. Sher has enjoyed a successful home décor and staging career over the past 25 years and now wishes to focus more on family in Texas. We are excited to offer such a strong collection of interior styles.

Our collaboration brings unique problem solving talent to Staging Santa Fe.

Troy Tryon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design/Architecture from Kansas State University. He has over 25 years’ experience most recently as Visual Merchandising Manager at Ravens and as Buyer and Curator of Showroom and Interior Designer at A.C.C. “The challenge in retail is to design individual cohesive vignettes or collections often with different styles side by side in the same large space.”  His philosophy:  “It’s simple.  Visualize and design unique spaces using a mix of styles to create a welcoming environment.”

Margaret Mooney was a Fine Art Major at The University of Texas at Austin.  She worked in visual merchandising for Yaring’s Department store in Austin and Sanger Harris in Dallas. Margaret built an award winning career with over 35 years in advertising in Chicago and New York for Leo Burnett and Ogilvy & Mather.  Her talent has been rewarded by winning two Cannes Film Festival Lions and numerous other awards celebrating excellence in copy and layout for her commercial clients.  “We plan to bring a fresh and effective approach to the staging needs of Santa Feans.”

Larry Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of the South and a BBA and MBA from Baylor University.  He enjoyed a long and successful career in sales, marketing and management with the Mutual of Omaha Companies where he worked with small business owners and individuals to tailor specific solutions for their needs. His passion for the Southwest led him to become a dedicated collector of Native American works and he can be found each year at both Spanish Market and Indian Market meeting with both artists and collectors and searching for that perfect new piece. “With the unique design expertise of Troy and our extensive selection of inventory, I am looking forward to helping clients sell their home in the shortest amount of time for the best price.”
